Training

Training is the foundation of any successful maintenance company. Engineered Systems’ training includes training for their personnel and also training for plant maintenance and safety personnel. Training includes those who are charged with the oversight of their plants safety and maintenance of their overhead hoists and cranes.

Engineered Systems has a state-of-the-art training facility in Duncan, SC. Along with spacious and comfortable classroom space, we also have an electrical training room where you can learn to troubleshoot hoists, program inverters, and read electrical diagrams.

The following are some of the training courses offered by Engineered Systems:

Maintenance Training: Engineered Systems works with hoist manufacturers to provide factory training on the repair of hoist and cranes. Held at our facility in Duncan, Coffing, Budget, Ingersoll-Rand and other manufacturers hold classes on their products for interested customers. We also tailor specific maintenance training to include the equipment that you have on your site. Contact Paul Madak for more information.

Crane Operator Training: No area is more overlooked in a safety program than providing the crane operators with proper training. Our on site training for your operators, consists of classroom time, and hands on training of the cranes that they operate on a daily basis. This is followed by a written test of acquired skills. Inspection Training: Primarily held at our facility in Duncan, SC, this course is designed for training you on the OSHA standards and gives you the training to perform the daily and monthly frequency inspections on your hoists and cranes. OSHA Safety Seminars: Engineered Systems will work in conjunction with your local OSHA representatives and other material handling experts, to provide seminars covering the OSHA, ANSI, Crane and Hoist manufacturers’ standards for overhead hoists and cranes.
